OnePlus Nord 4 Design Revealed from Multiple Angles in Series of Leaks Ahead of July 16 Launch

OnePlus has been adeptly balancing performance with practical design in its mid-range Nord series in India over the past few years. While the phones deliver ample power and performance for a smooth software experience, the brand has economized in areas like design and cameras to keep prices competitive. However, the upcoming Nord 4 is set to change that. Slated for announcement at OnePlus's global event on July 16, the Nord 4 has been featured in new leaks revealing a fresh design for the OnePlus sub-brand.

One notable leak comes from a post on X by @OnePlusClub, showcasing the phone in all its glory and in all the colorways the brand plans to launch. These include a two-tone mint green finish, a two-tone silver finish, and a basic black option.

The silver variant appears to have a textured back with large grooves, while the green and black variants feature flat rear surfaces with beveled corners. All three finishes highlight a new design language with a revised camera layout, featuring two horizontally aligned cameras and LED flash modules on the same plane but spaced apart.

Another key detail visible from the leaked images is the presence of the three-stage alert slider switch, confirming its continued inclusion in high-end (non-CE) Nord smartphones.

The leaks, along with OnePlus's own teasers, also suggest the use of metal in the upcoming Nord 4. Recently revealed live images of the phone clearly show a metal U-shaped unibody chassis, integrating the rear panel with an opening at the top around the cameras.

The final design of the OnePlus Nord 4 will be interesting to see, evoking memories of past all-metal smartphones that signified premium quality, despite reception issues. The Nord 4’s design in these images is reminiscent of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 series launched between 2017 and 2018.

According to a previous report, the OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device is likely to be powered by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.
